1. Haidilao Spicy Hotpot - 4 stars out of 5

Food Party Electric Grill and Hot Pot (Grill & Hotpot)

Haidilao is now the most popular brands in China! Given you probably need to wait for hours to dine in the restaurant, we would give it's mala hotpot base 5 stars! Although it says it's good for 3~5 people, I think it's great for 2 people only. Spiciness is mild for chili lovers. And it's a bit too salty for me personally. We recommend the brand's other flavors though: tomato soup, mushroom soup. With Food Party's dual hotpot design, you could try different flavors in one go!

2. Qiaotou Spicy Hotpot - 5 stars out of 5

The package is right about it! If you love Chongqing hotpot, Qiao Tou is the brand to go. We love that the beef fat is so flavorful, and the Chinese peppercorn taste it full on! The spiciness gets stronger as you boil the base. The spiciness, numbing taste, and beef fat aroma together make the flavor intricate and addictive!

3. Bai Jia Spicy Hotpot - 4.7 out of 5

Like Qiaotou, Bai Jia is also great in Chongqing hotpot. Spiciness, numbing tasteare just on point. A small concern is it's a bit too salty in our standard!

4. Little Sheep Spicy Hotpot - 4.5 out of 5

Food Party 2 in 1 Electric Smokeless Grill and Hot Pot
Compared to Qiaotou and Baijia, Little sheep is more of Chengdu flavor than Chongqing. Which means it's more spicy, less numbing, yet as flavorful! If you spiciness tops when you are considering, this is the one to go to! Salt level is very acceptable too.
