Candied Sweet and Spicy Bacon

PREP: 12 hours 10 minutes
DEHYDRATE: 6 hours

  • 10 strips bacon
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons garlic chili sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons mirin
  1. CUT bacon strips into halves or thirds. Set aside.
  2. COMBINE all ingredients into a bowl until well mixed.
  3. PLACE the cut bacon and marinade into a sealable plastic bag. Mix well.
  4. MARINATE in the fridge for 12 hours or overnight.
  5. PLACE the bacon evenly between the Food Party Food Dehydrator trays. 
  6. DRY at 165°F for 6 hours, or until done.
